Pretty great
1. The location is next to the Petra visitor Center, and wadi musa downtown is a km away 2. Pretty amazing views from the room of wadi musa. 3. Breakfast buffet. One of the best coffees I have ever had.
1. Water is charged. 2. Staff might seem a little cold. But that might also be because our staff at new Merryland in Amman were so amazing.

The location is great, close to Petra Visitor Center. The hotel is clean
I have mixed review on the staff/team. When we checked in in the afternoon, the person manning the front office was awesome, gave us advise on the hike and such. The staffs at the dining/restaurant are great. On our last day, as we are getting ready to check out at around 9am, we planned on putting our things first to the car, grab breakfast and we might go back to our room to use the toilet. When we got to our car and while arranging our things, one of the staff demanded our key. He said one word - key - and did the hand gesture. If he had asked if we were checking out already, I wont have any issues, but this is just plain RUDE. So I went to the front office - the person manning the front desk at this time argued, yes argued that they werent rude. And that they had "asked". No sir, you did not ask. Food is not the best. We tried breakfast, most of the dishes are salty. But the egg omelette was good. Dinner is not good - Salty and soggy fish, the rest are so so, nothing that youll remember. Our room also had plumbing issues. They had to replace the shower head and the rainshower as water comes out of places it shouldnt and whats left to use for shower is so little water. Also our toilet did not flush the 2nd use - these were all fixed by their superfast maintenance people.within the hour we reported the problem

Good
Very close to Petra visitors centre. Clean and nice rooms. Nice staff. Reasonable prices.
We had no hot water in both rooms the whole first day. Staff were "surprised" and say this is first time of such a complaint. Short search in the review history shows else.. Next day we had warm water (not hot) I believe thanks to solar system not actual heating. The concierge said , "today we do have visitors" unlike yesterday. Never had TV channels in both rooms. No buffet for breakfast, you get a meal on demand. Again due to low occupancy. Actually I do forgive the breakfast experience , and understand. But dont accept having no hot water to bath because of low occupancy.
